4. Critical Thinking and Media Literacy

Today's digital world, we are constantly surrounded by information—from news articles and social media posts to videos and advertisements. But how do we know what is true, reliable, or worth our attention? This is where critical thinking and media literacy become essential.

Critical thinking means analyzing information logically, questioning sources, and not accepting everything at face value. It's the ability to think independently and make reasoned judgments. Media literacy, on the other hand, is the skill of understanding and interpreting media messages. It involves recognizing bias, identifying fake news, and understanding how media can influence our beliefs and emotions.
